I appreciate the warm welcome. The pic is my 10 1/2 year old schnauzer. I realize that this is not a dog forum, but I just had to put down one of my greyhound littermates, just 2 days before their tenth birthday on July 3. Then my partner just had a report on a recurrence of the melanoma on his ear.

Whew. I need the zen of a session at the range and the zen of cleaning my guns to calm my mind/heart/soul of a week of just too much.
